Description
NUMBER 78 — The Savoy Coffee Lounge — 8 x 10″ Acrylic Print 1:1.25 (STAND NOT ICLUDED)
DESCRIPTION: This print showcases the recently uncovered Sennitt’s Ice Cream ghost sign within the historic Savoy Café in Ballarat. Likely hand-painted 60 years ago using traditional sign-writing techniques. These signs usually consist of faded lettering and a weathered surface. However, due to being concealed behind glass and over-painted for many years, this immaculate sign tells a story of a bygone era, preserving a slice of Ballarat’s rich commercial history.
This acrylic print fits a standard 8×10″ frame without a border or can be mounted in an 11×14″ frame for a clean border.
For those who appreciate the sleek, modern aesthetic of acrylic prints, our Acrylic Stand (sold separately) offers a stylish display option.
PLEASE NOTE: The framed image shown is for reference only.
ABOUT THE PRINT: Each original photographic work is printed on archival, exhibition-quality Metallic Pearl paper and face-mounted to acrylic, creating exceptional depth, vibrancy, and a striking 3D-like effect. The pearlescent finish enhances highlights while preserving deep blacks, bringing out intricate textures and tonal transitions with remarkable clarity.
